What it does

Send straight from the page

Stay on the page you're reading. Select, right-click, or use the shortcut; the page title and link are added for you.

• Select text and tap the Send to Flomo bubble that follows it
• Right-click a selection, an image, or an empty part of the page
• ⌘⇧F (Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows) opens a quick note box
• Clip: outline any part of a page and its text is pulled out

Let AI tidy it up first

Pick a few prompts and run them on the text in order: key points, tags, a rewrite, a translation. It uses your own AI key; Qwen, DeepSeek, Doubao, OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude all work.

• Write your own prompts or import them from the Xiaoxiaodong prompt library
• Members' prompts are saved to the account and follow you to new computers
• Share prompts in protected form: others can use them without seeing the text

Images count too

Pull the text out of a screenshot before sending. Web images go as links; images on your computer go to your own image host first, then to flomo.

Get started

1. Add to Chrome Install it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with a free Xiaoxiaodong account.
2. Paste your flomo API address In flomo's settings, copy the address starting with flomoapp.com/iwh/ and paste it into the extension's settings.
3. Select some text and send it It's in flomo, with its source, a moment later.

Questions

Do I need a flomo membership?

Yes. The extension sends through flomo's API address, which is a flomo PRO feature found in flomo's settings. The extension itself is free once you sign in.

Is this the official flomo extension?

No. It's a third-party extension by Xiaoxiaodong that sends through your own flomo API address.

Do my notes pass through Xiaoxiaodong?

No. Content goes from your browser straight to flomo, and AI processing goes straight to the AI service you set up. Your account is only for signing in and membership.

Do I have to pay?

No. Once signed in, posting to flomo is unlimited and AI runs are 10 a day; new accounts start with a 7-day full trial.

Whose model does the AI use?

The AI service and key you set in settings, billed by your provider; the key stays in your browser.

How do I send images from my computer?

Set up an image host (for example Tencent Cloud COS) in settings; local images go there first, then the link goes to flomo. Web images need no setup.

Can I change the shortcuts?

Yes. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts in Chrome and change Flomo Quick Post's keys.
